South Strabane’s fire department and parks and recreation commission hosted 150 people Saturday for a “Breakfast with Santa” event. Local families enjoyed a breakfast while children created crafts and participated in other holiday activities at the fire station on Oak Springs Road. Firefighters and police officers escorted Santa to the event, and he met with each child and gave them gifts. Guests were also able to tour the township’s fire apparatus and learn more about the fire department.
