One hospitalized after vehicle hits person in Cecil Township

A person was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Cecil Township Tuesday morning.

According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, first responders were called at about 5 a.m. to the intersection of Millers Run Road and Coleman Road.

Ted Wolford, Cecil Township fire chief, said the person had been involved in a vehicle accident prior to getting hit. Wolford could not provide additional details.

According to 911, the individual was taken by ambulance to an unspecified hospital.

Cecil Township police did not return multiple phone calls seeking additional information by Tuesday’s deadline.
