Long John Silver’s returns
A Long John Silver’s restaurant is under construction along West Chestnut Street in North Franklin Township. Bob Sabot, chair of the township board of supervisors, said the fast-food chain is expected to its new location in the next 30 to 45 days. The restaurant is being built next door to the Burger King at 1150 W. Chestnut St. There had previously been a Long John Silver’s at Washington Crown Center Mall, which closed a few years ago, according to Sabot.
