A home in Town and Country Park in Canton Township was destroyed in a fire Wednesday afternoon. A Washington County 911 supervisor said crews were called to 602 Best Ave. shortly before 2 p.m. The supervisor said the home was vacant when the fire started. Several departments were still on the scene about two hours after the initial call. A neighboring home had façade damage.
