Bradford House administrator receives ATHENA Award

The executive director of the Bradford House Historical Association received the ATHENA Leadership Award at a ceremony Friday.
According to a press release from the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Tracie Liberatore was selected out of five finalists. The award was presented at a luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe.
“The award promotes leadership by honoring exceptional individuals in the community who contribute in significant ways to the achievements of women and women’s leadership efforts. As Ms. Liberatore and the four finalists demonstrated, we are very fortunate that Washington County’s businesswomen are leading and being acknowledged for their positive impacts in Washington County,” said Jeff Kotula, president of the chamber of commerce, in the release.
Also nominated for the award were:
Shelley Baber, Eaton Corp.;
Mary Barkhymer, Advanced Surgical Hospital;
Dr. Bobbi Cumpston, Veterans Affairs of Washington County;
Carla Herrnberger, Charleroi Area School District.
This year’s ceremony was the 22nd annual ATHENA Award event in Washington County. The chamber also presented the Diana Irey Vaughan ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award, which went to Kimberly Price of EQT Corp.
