Residents at Bellmead Apartments, a Washington independent living facility for senior citizens, showed their appreciation to Ambulance and Chair employees during National EMS Week Monday by “stuffing an ambulance” full of snacks and beverages. “These are grab-and-go snacks. As they’re working they can have something to eat or drink on their run,” said Jessie Moore, service coordinator at Bellmead. According to Moore, the residents started donating snacks about a month ago.
