McDonald man killed in motorcycle crash
A motorcyclist was killed Monday evening after he was struck by another vehicle.
Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco identified the man as 67-year-old John Charles Dinsmore of McDonald.
According to Warco’s report, Dinsmore was driving his motorcycle east in the 3800 block of Millers Run Road in Cecil Township shortly before 6 p.m. when a westbound sport-utility vehicle crossed the center line and struck him.
Warco declared Dinsmore dead at the scene at 7:44 p.m. Dinsmore was wearing a helmet.
Cecil Township Fire Department, state police and Southbridge EMS responded. Cecil Township police are investigating.
