Police beat Oct. 7

CANONSBURG
Drug arrest: Alfred Lemar Moss, 41, of Canonsburg, was charged Friday by Canonsburg police with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and prohibited possession of a firearm. According to the criminal complaint, shortly after 6 a.m. Canonsburg police, North Strabane police, agents with the state attorney general’s office and the Washington County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at Moss’ apartment in the 400 block of Highland Avenue. In Moss’ bedroom investigators allegedly found 14 grams of suspected cocaine, marijuana, digital scales, $550 and a revolver. District Judge Michael Manfredi arraigned Moss Friday morning and sent him to the Washington County jail on $75,000 bond.
Threats: Stephen Michael Loos, 39, of Canonsburg, was charged by Canonsburg police Friday with terroristic threats and harassment. According to the criminal complaint, at about 5 p.m. Friday police were called to the 200 block of East College Street for a report that Loos was threatening a group of females with a golf club. Charging documents state that Loos was waving around the club and threatening a group of three women and a juvenile female who were in a parking lot across the street from his home. District Judge Phillippe Melograne arraigned Loos Friday night and sent him to the Washington County jail on $100,000 bond.
CANTON
Assault alleged: Bryan Floyd Watson, 44, of Washington, was charged Sunday by state police with strangulation and simple assault. According to the criminal complaint, shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday police were called to the 400 block of Baird Avenue after Watson allegedly assaulted his mother. Watson is accused of stomping on his mother’s foot and placing his hands around her neck. District Judge Phillippe Melograne arraigned Watson Sunday evening and sent him to the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
