Donora
Assault alleged: Matthew Robert Alt, 27, of Donora, was charged Sunday by Donora police with strangulation, reckless endangerment and simple assault. According to the criminal complaint, at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday, police were called to Alt’s home in the 900 block of Thompson Avenue. Hayle Vanmale told police that Alt came home intoxicated and assaulted her. Alt allegedly slammed her to the ground and choked her, court documents state. District Judge Gary Havelka sent Alt to the Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.
Washington
Assault alleged: Heather Shree Tenley, 43, of Moundsville, W.Va., was charged Friday by UPMC Washington police with aggravated assault. According to the criminal complaint, at about 6 a.m. Friday, Tenley sought medical attention at UPMC Washington. Court records describe her as “disruptive and erratic.” While being discharged, Tenley allegedly attempted to stab a nurse in the face with a pen, and then punched the nurse in the face, according to the complaint. District Judge Gary Havelka sent Tenley to the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
