Richeyville man accused of child porn possession
State police arrested a Richeyville man Wednesday on charges of possession of child sexual abuse material.
Dustin Kenyan McMasters, 20, faces 20 felony charges of sexual abuse of children – possession of child sexual abuse material and disseminating photos/videos of child sex acts, and four additonal felonies of criminal use of a communication facility.
According to the criminal complaint, in May 2025, messaging app Kik reported that an account belonging to McMasters had uploaded multiple files depicting the sexual abuse of children.
Police served a search warrant Wednesday at McMasters’ home in the 800 block of Wood Street and seized a phone that was found to contain child sexual abuse material.
McMasters was arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Gary Havelka, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Jan. 14.
