Walmart in Uniontown closed temporarily due to bomb threat

The Walmart in Uniontown was evacuated on Saturday morning due to a bomb threat.

On its Facebook page, the store posted that the Walmart Uniontontown store at Fayette Crossing is “closed for an emergency.”

According to state police, the store was evacuated around 10 a.m.

Police said the store would remain closed for an extended period on Saturday.

Troopers are ensuring the is no threat at the store before re-opening.
