Lyme disease meetings scheduled

Two meetings about Lyme disease will be held in March.

A meeting, Ticks and the Great Outdoors, will take place on Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mingo Creek County Park’s Henry House. The informal, open discussion will be led by Sandy Mansmann and will include information on Lyme disease and its prevention. On Saturday, March 21, a Lyme disease discussion will be held at 11 a.m. at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington. Special guest speaker will be Bill Moore, board member and regional leader of the Pittsburgh Region of PA Lyme Resource Network, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing education and raising awareness about Lyme disease.
