Meadow Lands man dies after being struck by vehicle
A Meadow Lands man suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a car early Saturday on Pike Street in Chartiers Township.
According to the Washington County Coroners Office, Philip Frye, 21, died at the scene after he was hit by a car traveling south in the 500 block of Pike Street at around 2 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
Assisting Chartiers Township police at the scene were Canonsburg Ambulance, Chartiers Township Fire Department, and the state police crash reconstruction unit.
