The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s outdoor Charleroi distribution scheduled for Thursday has been canceled due to winter weather conditions. Christa Johnson, communications specialist, said the food bank’s policy is to cancel an outdoor event when the temperature goes below 10 degrees, as the bitter cold could pose a health risk for staff, volunteers and those coming for the food.
