MCDONALD
Assault alleged: Zachary William Reedy, 33, of McDonald, was charged Tuesday by McDonald police with strangulation. According to the criminal complaint, police were called at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday to Reedy’s home in the 100 block of Railroad Street. Court records accuse Reedy of putting his hands around Kayla Reedy’s throat and pushing her down. Reedy was arraigned Tuesday night before District Judge John Bruner, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $30,000 bond.
WASHINGTON
Assault alleged: Sean Stephen Sperber, 38, of Turtle Creek, was charged Monday by state police with strangulation and simple assault. According to the criminal complaint, at about 8 a.m. Monday police were called to Sunoco gas station at the intersection of Murtland and North avenues in Washington for a domestic incident. Court documents accuse Sperber of pressing his arm against Alycia Kelly’s neck, preventing her from breathing. Sperber was arraigned Monday morning before District Judge Kelly Stewart, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Officer assaulted: Deloris Jean Ernewein, 60, of Washington, was charged Tuesday by Washington police with aggravated assault, trespassing and resisting arrest. According to the criminal complaint, police were called at about 11 p.m. Monday to an apartment at 70 E. Chestnut St. because Ernewein was refusing to leave. While police escorted her out, she allegedly hit an officer in the chest with her hand. Ernewein was arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Phillippe Melograne, who released her on $10,000 unsecured bond.
