Kathleen K. Bell
Kathleen K. “Kay” Bell, 70, of Eighty Four, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at 6 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with her family by her side.
She was born September 1, 1942, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late John and Mary Kanab Kruzelock.
Mrs. Bell lived in Eighty Four since 1984 and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
She had been employed for 27 years as an executive secretary for the late Willard Rockwell, chairman of Rockwell Industries and Astrotech. She was a cosmetologist and, prior to her retirement, she was a counter manager for Christian Dior at Macy’s in South Hills Village.
Her life was her family and their friends. She loved to dance and spend time at her home in Florida. She had a passion for bowling and, at one time, considered turning professional.
On April 15, 1989, she married Victor D. Bell, who survives and will miss her dearly.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher D. (Conchetta) Bell of Washington; a stepson, Victor (Dana) Bell Jr. of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Carmen Riley Bell, Chloe Olivia Bell and Brooke, Brenda and Victor III Bell; two sisters, Laverna Skorija of Baden and Loretta (Walter) Danko of Duquesne; two brothers, Jack Kruzelock of Hawaii and Paul (Carol) Kruzelock of Hilton Head, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Michael “Mickey” Kruzelock.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 10, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, North Strabane Township.
