Paul Warren Crawford
Paul Warren Crawford, 69, of Carmichaels, died Friday, December 14, 2012, in his home.
Mr. Crawford was born July 15, 1943, in Waynesburg, the son of the late Ralph and Paula Goertz Crawford.
Mr. Crawford is survived by a brother, William Crawford and wife Monica of Jefferson.
An uncle, George Goertz, is deceased.
Mr. Crawford, who was known as Warren, was a graduate of Cumberland Township High School Class of 1961.
He was a former employee of Data Fold Co., Waynesburg, and Isabella Mine until their closings.
He had a lifelong love of music and played trombone with the nationally known Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 Band, Uniontown, for many years.
He also was a member of Carmichaels Moose Lodge and Jessop Boat Club, Rices Landing.
He enjoyed football, boating on the Monongahela River, entertaining his friends and playing with his cat, Sunshine.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 17, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320 (724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako, owner/funeral director/supervisor. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.
Private interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
