Wallace G. Spinnenweber

Wallace G. Spinnenweber, 85, of Eighty Four, Nottingham Township, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, in Washington Hospital.

He was born November 1, 1927, in Carrick, a son of the late George and Cleopha Stein Spinnenweber.

Mr. Spinnenweber was retired as a driver for Pepsi-Cola Bottling in McKees Rocks.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Spinnenweber was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.

Surviving are two sons, Dave Spinnenweber of Amity and Dan Spinnenweber of Eighty Four; three daughters, Suzy Grubich (Harry) and Jayne Stefan (Michael), both of Eighty Four, and Jill Esken (Dave) of Finleyville; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased is his wife, Elsie M. Spinnenweber, who died in March 2009.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 27, in St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Robert J. Boyle as celebrant. Private interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
