Theresa S. Perry
Theresa S. Perry, 88, of Houston, passed away peacefully at 10 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, in HCR ManorCare, McMurray, following an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 8, 1924, a daughter of the late Vincent and Carmella Russo Salituro.
Mrs. Perry lived most of her life in Midland and Houston, where she was a member of Central Assembly of God Church for 26 years.
She enjoyed search word puzzles and watching game shows.
In her younger years, she had been employed as a clerk in the Midland Company Store.
On August 12, 1950, she married Theodore A. Perry, who died November 20, 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Jeffrey) Wright of Houston; her only beloved granddaughter, Chelsea Marie Wright, who will always remember the special times when her “Nana” taught her to sing songs in Italian; a brother, Vincent Salituro of Springfield Mo.; a sister, Macaline Manko of Clairton; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a son, Theodore Vincent Perry, who died in infancy.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc. Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120. Services will he held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 29, in Central Assembly of God Church, 155 McGovern Road, Houston. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
