Cynthia Ann Filbey
Cynthia Ann Filbey, 56, of Mather, died unexpectedly Friday, April 5, 2013, in her home.
She was born March 25, 1957, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late James and Gertrude Kohrman Christie.
Mrs. Filbey was a homemaker and a member of Jefferson Baptist Church.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, scuba diving and animals.
Surviving are her husband, Charles A. Filbey, whom she married June 10, 1989; two sons, James Nehls and Stephen Nehls, both of Jefferson; a daughter, Anna Nehls of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Nicky Shoemaker and Devan and Rowyn Snoderly; two brothers, Dave Christie and Jim Christie, both of Uniontown; and a sister-in-law, Bea Christie of Uniontown.
Deceased are two brothers, Bill and Danny Christie; a sister, Nancy Christie; and a sister-in-law, Donna Christie.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, with the Rev. John R.
