Beth Tustin
Beth Tustin, 58, of Washington, died Monday, April 8, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born January 27, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Cunningham Cowden.
Mrs. Tustin graduated from Trinity High School in 1972 and attended Beaver County Community College and Lock Haven University, where she received her bachelor’s degree.
She was a police officer for South Strabane Township, retiring in 1998 after 21 years of service.
Mrs. Tustin was a member of Canonsburg FOP Lodge 22 and the Women’s Auxiliary of American Legion Post 175 in Washington.
She enjoyed crafts and traveling, especially trips to Disney World.
On April 20, 1993, she married Donald H. Tustin, who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Ann Cowden of Elyria, Ohio; a brother, Don Cowden (Darla) of Hickory; two sisters-in-law, Jean Bedillion (Gary) of Hickory and Carol Schwartz (Don) of Canonsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased, all services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Donnell House, in care of Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
