William G. Woerner
William G. Woerner, 93, of Venetia, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 11, 2013.
He was born May 5, 1919, in Philadelphia, a son of the late William and Isabel Isles Woerner.
Mr. Woerner was the beloved husband of Jean (Braine) Woerner; loving father of Keith (Tamara) Woerner of Venetia and Drew (Denise) Woerner of Reseda, Calif.; cherished grandfather of Jonathan C. Woerner, Brian W. Woerner, Jeannette M. Woerner, Lindsey A. Woerner, Holly R. (Anthony Jr.) Palumbo and Danielle N. Foutz (Daniel Lohr); and dear brother of Isabel Boyes and the late Mae Crutchley.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and four great-grandchildren.
He was a proud member of the Retired Reserves of Center Presbyterian Church and an Army Air Force veteran.
Friends are welcome for services at 11 a.m. Thrusday, April 18, in Center Presbyterian Church, 255 Center Church Road, McMurray, 15317, 724-941-9050.
