Margaret Temar
Margaret Temar, 88, of Daisytown, died peacefully Thursday, April 18, 2013, with her family by her side.
She was born Saturday, July 26, 1924, in Daisytown, a daughter of the late John and Suzanna Durica Duritza.
Mrs. Temar was a member of Rosary Society of Daisytown Assumption Church and a founding member of West Pike Run Women’s Club.
Her loved ones considered her to be the ultimate homemaker, baker and mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Temar in 1991, and a sister, Helen Dancheck in 2005.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Alexis and Bill Fusselman of Southington, Ohio, Debbie and Ronnie Fear of Silsbee, Texas, and Bobbi and Dave Hixon of California.
Also surviving are five grandsons, Eddie and Bobby Henley, David and Paul Fusselman and Luke Hixon; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until 9:15 a.m., the time of a blessing service, Monday, April 22, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California. A Mass of Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jerome Botsko as celebrant. A Parastas service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, California.
