Jack P. Nedley
Jack P. Nedley, 61, of Charleroi, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013.
A son of the late Wayne and Margaret Cleaver Nedley, he was born August 4, 1951, in Salem, N.J.
Mr. Nedley honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he retired as a jet engine mechanic supervisor.
He was a member of West Brownsville American Legion Post 940, loved to watch his beloved Steelers play and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Denise S. Williams Nedley; two daughters, Diane Choate of Memphis, Tenn., and Amanda Kay Nedley of Pittsburgh; a son, Robert Nedley of Monessen; stepchildren Heidi Thrasher of Fort Pierce, Fla., Christopher Plumley of Belle Vernon and Eric Gonzales of Washington; 10 grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Debra Bacon of Salem, N.J., and Lisa Nedley of Waynesburg; brothers, Frank Stevenson of Semora, N.C., James Nedley, of Ocala, Fla., Timothy Raytek of Perkasie and Christopher Dupree of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brother Tommy Raytek and sister Helen Ferrara.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Wednesday, April 24, in Melenyzer-DuBarr Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Interment will be at the family’s convenience. Condolences may be left at www.melenyzer-dubarr.com.
