Gertrude Demaske Kelly
Gertrude Demaske Kelly, 87, of Point Marion, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Point Manor Personal Care Home.
She was born October 11, 1925, in Woodside, a daughter of the late Andrew and Leona Blout Demaske.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of St. Hubert Roman Catholic Church of Point Marion.
She was an avid gardener and was well-known for her tomato garden.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband of 61 years, Benjamin F. Kelly; two sons, Stanley and John Kelly; a daughter, Joann Ray; two brothers, John and Stanley Demaske; and a sister, Lorraine Michniak.
Surviving are two daughters, Marcia Kelly of Point Marion and Diane Ingland of Pittsburgh; a son, Benjamin F. Kelly Jr. of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Jessica Rinner, Rebecca Guyman, Keith Murphy, Bronson Ingland, Joshua Kelly and Stasha Ray; six great-grandchildren, Mason Kelly, Cameron Kelly, Abby Rinner, Neil Rinner, Beda Guseman and Clive Guyman; a sister, Cecilia Blackwood of Rock Hill, S.C.; and two brothers, Andrew Demaske of Rices Landing and Frank Demaske of Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, funeral director/supervisor, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, 724-725-5256, and until 10:30 a.m., when brief prayers will be said, Saturday, April 27, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Hubert Church, Point Marion, with the Rev. Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Parish wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
