Wilma Joyce Hoberek
Wilma Joyce Hoberek, 72, of Washington, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, in her home.
She was born October 20, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of David and Josephine Keating Huber.
Ms. Hoberek was a member of Apostolic Christian Temple of Washington.
She was a homemaker who loved talking to and spending time with her family and friends, shopping, cooking and watching television. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are four sons, Robert (Becky) Hoberek, Edward Hoberek and Scott Hoberek, all of Washington, and Charles Johnson of Ohio; four daughters, Mia (Shawn) Johnson, Linda (Tyrone) Chandler, Margaret “TuTu” (Mark) Jemison and Edwina Hoberek, all of Washington; a brother, William Huber of Slovan; a sister, Margaret Lee Lanham of Slovan; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Edward Leroy Kelley; two sons, Jay and Ricky Hoberek; and a brother, Dean Huber.
Friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in Apostolic Christian Temple, 164 West Wylie Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, with the Rev. Myron C. Jones II officiating. Burial will follow in West Middletown Cemetery. William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. is handling arrangements.
