Carmella Antonucci Washlack
Carmella Antonucci Washlack, 92, of Charleroi, formerly of Cokeburg, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born August 25, 1920, in Monessen, a daughter of the late Cosimo and Divina Santoro Antonucci.
Mrs. Washlack was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church in Charleroi.
Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her family in general were the center of her life.
Her husband, Michael Washlack Sr., died December 22, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Michael Washlack Jr. (Bridget) of Alexandria, Va.; two daughters, Rosemarie Demsher (Ronald) of Bridgeville and Pat Martos (Alexander) of Charleroi; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Matilda Cyanovich of Scenery Hill and Lena Belski Byron of Coal Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are three brothers, Ciro, Cosimo and Louis Antonucci, and three sisters, Marie DeBlasio, Dorothy Allen and Sylvia Swamp.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant. Interment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
