Donald Worley Stiles

Donald Worley Stiles, 77, of Waynesburg, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, in his home.

He was born July 27, 1935, in Spraggs, a son of the late Worley “Pete” and Ossie Mae Brock Stiles.

Mr. Stiles was a retired heavy equipment operator, having worked in mine construction.

He was a member of Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461, Mt. Morris Sportsman’s Club and Bobtown Rod and Gun Club.

Mr. Stiles was Methodist.

He was a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School.

Surviving are a son, James Douglas Stiles of Waynesburg; a daughter, Judy Clovis of Morgantown, W.Va.; a brother, James E. Stiles of Daybrook, W.Va.; four sisters, Sara L. Whitehill of Spraggs, Lucille Bloom and husband Joe of Connellsville, Anna Ruth Barr and husband Junie of Daybrook and Karen Francis of Daybrook; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Kenneth Stiles.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, with the Rev. Freddie Eddy II officiating.
