Local 3 ironworker enjoyed walking trail

Robert Louis Hervol, 60, of Hickory, Mt. Pleasant Township, died Thursday, August 1, 2013, in the Allegheny General Hospital emergency department, Pittsburgh.

He was born October 6, 1952, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Louis and Dorothy Forkey Hervol.

Mr. Hervol enjoyed walking the Montour Trail, gardening, traveling and touring Disney. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

He worked as a ironworker for Local 3, retiring in 2009.

Surviving are his wife, Tina Hervol of Hickory; son Michael Hervol of Sunrise, Fla.; daughter Nicole (Masayoshi) Nagaya of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Mary Lou (Thomas) McCullough of Marco Island, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Sunday, August 4, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Route 50, Cecil, with Father Stan Gregorek, officiating. Interment will be private.
