Welder loved riding quads, hunting, fishing

Jared T. Corbin, 27, of Washington, died Sunday, August 4, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

He was born September 1, 1985, in Washington, a son of Thomas C. Corbin of Washington and Karen K. Wagstaff Bodnar (William) of Cochranton.

Mr. Corbin was a 2004 Cochranton High School graduate.

He was a welder for Hartman and Hartman Constructors in Eighty Four.

Mr. Corbin loved working on anything mechanical, riding quads, hunting and fishing, and he took great pride in his work.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Chris Corbin of Washington and Jason Corbin (Amanda) of Livingston, Mont.; a sister, Nicole Corbin of Washington; a stepbrother, Bill Bodnar of Cochranton; two nieces, Jenna and Darian Bodnar; a stepmother, Susan Corbin; three uncles; four aunts; and several cousins.

His grandparents and an uncle are deceased.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 8, with the Rev. Gary Gibson officiating.
