Tommy Arnold Rohrer

Beloved brother, father, grandfather

Tommy Arnold Rohrer, 73, of Middletown, Va., died Sunday, August 4, 2013, in his home.

He was born in 1940, in Clarksville, a son of the late Charles R. and Opal C. Rohrer.

Mr. Rohrer was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was employed at Pepco, retiring in 1995.

Mr. Rohrer was a member of United Methodist Church in Middletown.

He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was an infamous communicator and loved spending time on the golf course.

Surviving are a daughter, Nichole Rohrer-Bassingthwaite and husband Jason of Alexandria, Va.; two granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia; three sisters, Gloria McKee of Greensboro, Dorothy Reaney and husband Edward of Baltimore, Md., and Barbara Summers and husband Ben of West Chester; two brothers, Richard Rohrer and wife Mary Carol of Mather and Terry Arnold Rohrer of New York.

Deceased are three brothers, Donald, James and Glenn Rohrer.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 9, in Grace United Methodist Church, Middletown, with the Rev. Thomas Keithley officiating. Military honors will be afforded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2123.
