Denise R. Edmonds, 60, of McDonald, Robinson Township, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in her parents’ home.
She was born August 12, 1952, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Floyd and the Rev. M. Marion West Edmonds of McDonald.
She was co-owner of Edmonds Trucking and was a member of First Baptist Church of McDonald, where she was a former member of the church choir.
She received a bachelor of arts degree from Temple University and a master’s in business administration from Waynesburg University.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a son, Kyle Robinette of Pittsburgh; a stepson, Cartrell “Bob” Wright of New Jersey; brothers Floyd F. Edmonds of Hanlin Station and Timothy A. Edmonds of McDonald; nieces Amanda and Darsey Edmonds; and a nephew, Bryce Edmonds.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, in First Baptist Church of McDonald, 141 North McDonald Street, McDonald, where a funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 55 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
