Beloved mother and grandmother
Ludmila P. Oster, 93, of Washington, formerly of South Park, died Thursday, August 8, 2013, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington.
She was born July 4, 1920, in Libuse, La., a daughter of the late Rudolph and Anna Caslavska Prycl.
Mrs. Oster was a homemaker.
On July 1, 1941, she married John G. Oster, who died October 5, 1993.
Surviving are five daughters, Susan (Robert) Whipps of Amity, Trudy (Dennis) Sobotka of Little River, S.C., Janine Abner of Washington, Sally (Russell) Gloeckl of McDonald and Shelley (Jack) Bruce of Pittsburgh; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two daughters, Lisa Beth and Robin Oster; four brothers; and four sisters.
Friends will be received for a memorial gathering from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, August 12, with a luncheon to follow at 1 p.m. in Peter’s Place, 1199 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017. All other services will be private.
