Known as ‘the girl with the golden heart'

Sheila Conn Edwards, 54, of Export, formerly of Sturgeon, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 11, 2013.

Known as “the girl with the golden heart,” she was born November 30, 1958, in Ohio Valley Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Leander “Boots” Conn; surviving mother Sally Williams; stepfather Frank Williams; and stepmother Susan Conn.

Mrs. Edwards loved the beach and could always be found tending her posies in the garden.

She leaves behind her most precious flowers and children, Joshuah Dean, 28; Erika Danielle, 25; and Aleece Marie, 23.

She leaves behind her four grandchildren, Chase Edward, Kaydence Elizabeth, Ellie Mae and Danielle Jean.

Also surviving are her loving fiance, Dale Cline; a son-in-law, Edward Tworek; sisters Sally Bott, Margie Conn, Amy Lane and Heather Lynn; brothers Lee Conn and Frankie Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a brother, John Conn.

She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched with her love and understanding. Her family would say, when the flowers bloom in May and the ocean crashes to the shore, her voice will be heard.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, in Leo J. Henney Funeral Home, Carnegie. Visit www.leohenneyfuneralhome.com.
