Veteran loved time with family, hunting
Ronald H. Simpson, 61, of Washington, died Friday, August 16, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born August 5, 1952, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Howard L. and Ann Mancina Simpson.
Mr. Simpson was a 1970 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, and enjoyed hunting with his beagles and coonhound.
Mr. Simpson was a member of Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard.
On April 14, 1973, he married Priscilla “Sissy” Bell in St. Patrick’s Church, Canonsburg. Mrs. Simpson survives.
Also surviving are son Nathan Simpson of Washington; daughter Jessica R. Simpson of Washington; sister Kimberly A. (David) Rhome of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Anna Harden, Olivia Simpson and Shayla and Dakota Wilkinson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, with the Rev.
