Enjoyed cooking, sewing and making quilts

Inez Tustin Dulaney, 97, of Waynesburg, died at 9:02 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013, at her home, following a several month illness.

She was born Friday, October 22, 1915, in Hargus Creek, Center Township, a daughter of the late Charles Peter Tustin and Alta May Hunnell Tustin.

Mrs. Dulaney was a lifelong resident of Greene County and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing and especially making quilts.

Mrs. Dulaney worked as a sales clerk at Long’s H-P Store and later at the Health Mart.

Her husband, Hiram B. “Hick” Dulaney, whom she married October 4, 1930, died October 5, 2005.

Surviving are a son-in-law, Louis A. Doutt of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Gregg Louis Doutt, Amy Sue Doutt, both of Waynesburg, and Mary Beth Doutt of Coraopolis; a great-granddaughter, Alisha M. Doutt of Waynesburg; a sister, Mary Gump of Waynesburg; a brother, Ralph Tustin of Freedom; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Suann Doutt; two sisters, Pearl Macik and Betty Basinger; four brothers, Raymond Tustin, Guy “Red Buck” Tustin, Francis Tustin and Homer Renner.

Visitation and services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc, Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 N. Maiden St, Waynesburg, are in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Amedisys Hospice, 2183 McClellandtown Rd., Masontown, PA 15461. Entombment will be in Greene Co. Memorial Park, Waynesburg. Information is available at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.
