Jo Ann Kler Harner, 68, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born November 1, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of Oliver and Romaine Doman Appleby.
Mrs. Harner was a member of Calvary Temple in Washington.
She was employed as a personal care aide at Candlelight Assisted Living.
On April 16, 1966, she married Robert Kler. Mr. Kler died January 25, 1995. On June 15, 1996, she married David Harner, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Linda (Kenny) Bolosan of Washington, Robin (Jeffrey) Kler-Demchak of Monongahela, Beverly (Michael) Kasavich and Bobbi Jo (Daniel) Wagner, both of Washington; two stepsons, Jeffrey A. and Arthur D. Harner, both of Washington; brother Oliver Appleby; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and her extended family, Cathy Dhanse, Tom and Jo Ann Glunt and John Byers.
Deceased are a stepson and stepdaughter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, funeral director. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 7, in Calvary Temple, 1200 Donnan Avenue, Washington.
