Ronald Einer Kesten, 71, of McMurray, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 27, 2013.

Born July 3, 1942, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Einer and Pauline Yuhas Kesten.

He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Sue Ann Klingensmith Kesten; dear father of Lauren (Patrick) Clark, Dana (Jason) Tarap, Dan (Jill) Kesten; cherished grandfather of Sade Kesten, Mitchell Tarap, Emily, Jack and Bridget Kesten; brother of Carolyn (Jack) Craig and Chris (Bill) Case. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kesten was a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church in McMurray.

He was an avid skier and enjoyed going to Seven Springs.

Mr. Kesten was past president of Rostraver Chamber of Commerce.

He was a very hard and dedicated worker as owner of Kesten & Associates Restaurant Equipment.

Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He truly was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, in Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, McMurray, with Father Adam Verona officiating.

Inurnment will take place in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA. 15317.
