Sherri Lynnette Miller

Sherri Lynnette Miller, 52, of Washington, was called home Saturday, August 24, 2013, following a lengthy and heroic fight overcoming many obstacles.
She was born June 21, 1961, in Washington, a daughter of Joseph Miller Sr. and the late Janet Adrienne Miller.
Ms. Miller was a devoted member of Wright Memorial Church in Washington.
She attended Chaney State College, majoring in journalism.
Ms. Miller worked many years at Chicken Charlies in Washington.
Throughout everything, Beverly Thomas was Ms. Miller’s biggest supporter, and for this, the family is forever grateful.
She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, spending time with her family and lived solely for her two sons.
Surviving are her two sons, Jordan Miller of Washington and Jared Miller of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Peyton, Jordanlynn and Zaiden; and brothers Joseph of Washington, Eric (Trishia) of Canonsburg and Micheal (Joy) of Brookline. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends are welcomed for a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, August 31, in LeMoyne Center, 200 Forrest Avenue, Washington. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-260-5546. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
