Loved to play cards, bingo and the lottery
Nellie Kayatin, 91, of Coal Center, died peacefully Friday, December 6, 2013.
She was born Friday, April 14, 1922, in Rosmar, W.Va., a daughter of the late Steve and Rose Knatko Bobin.
Mrs. Kayatin was a member of Daisytown Presbyterian Church.
She loved to play cards, bingo and the lottery.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children and their spouses, Brenda and Richard Hopkins of Clover Hill and Steven and Frances Kayatin of Canonsburg; three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren, Jessica Hopkins-Estis and husband Dennis, Christopher Kayatin and wife Michelle, Dr. Matthew Kayatin, Teresa McAnally and husband Michael and Mandy Bennett and husband Brian; two great-grandchildren, Lilah Estis and Nolan McAnally; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Steve “Steamer” Kayatin, who died December 14, 2012; four sisters, Ann Kuretich, Estelle Robillotto, Helen Cushma and Rose Badalamenti; and two brothers, Michael and Andrew Bobin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until 11 a.m., the time of service, Monday, December 9, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, with Pastor Doug Quail officiating. Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery.
