Leo Antonopoulos
Leo “Bud” Antonopoulos, 91, of Bulger, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
He was born January 29, 1922, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Peter and Rachel Burgoon Antonopoulos.
Mr. Antonopoulos was a graduate of Penn State and Duquesne universities.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Antonopoulos was a surveyor with Gilbert Construction Co. and was a member of Burgettstown Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his goddaughter, Priscilla (Adelmo) Fini and her son, Mitchell Fini; and a number of cousins and devoted friends Robin, David and James Hoberek.
He was the last of his immediate family.
Deceased are a sister, Carol Antonopoulos, and a brother, Andrew Antonopoulos.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway, 724-796-3301, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Febuary 23.
