Isabel Phillips
Isabel Phillips, 90, of Waynesburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 3, 2013, surrounded by her family, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington, where she had resided for the last two years with her dear friend, Mae, who was there by her side.
She was born July 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Fred and Bernice Phillips.
Miss Phillips was the beloved sister of the late Frances Phillips; loving aunt of Carol (John) Stuchell of Albright, W.Va., and Darlene Phillips of Waynesburg; great-aunt of Jennifer Phillips, Cody Stuchell and Colton and Korte Stuchell; great-great-aunt of Sarah Alvarado and William Austin Areford, Carter Stuchell, Gavin Stuchell and Tucker Stuchell; and great-great-great-aunt of Kayden Alvarado.
She was a member of Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church, where she played piano and sang in the choir. She also attended Green Valley Presbyterian Church.
One of her most favorite hobbies was gardening.
