James W. Armour
James W. Armour, 85, of Palmyra, formerly of Speers Hill, died Friday, January 4, 2013, in Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
He was born August 2, 1927, in Washington, a son of the late James B. and Ethel Lillian Clutter Armour.
Mr. Armour was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a military policeman.
He owned and operated the Keystone Television Store in Charleroi for many years.
Mr. Armour was a member of First Christian Church in Charleroi and was a member of Charleroi Hunting and Fishing Club.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Batykefer Armour; two daughters, Debra Marks and husband Thomas of Hershey and Joyce Matz and husband Floyd of West Virginia; a son, James Armour and wife Nancy of Michigan; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, deceased is a sister, Virginia Hart.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8.
