Paul A. Demo
Paul A. “Doodlebug” Demo, 73, of Bentleyville, died Friday, January 4, 2013, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born August 27, 1939, in Bentleyville, a son of the late Paul Borelli and Wilma Lee Demo.
Mr. Demo worked for Consolidation Coal Co. at their Ellsworth and Eighty Four mines.
He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 1197 and a former member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville and Antique Auto Club of America.
Mr. Demno loved classic and antique cars and was an avid sports fan, especially football and baseball and his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Johnson Demo of Monongahela; three sons, Paul M. Demo of California, Dave C. Demo and wife Beth of Irvine, Calif., and Quentin A. Demo of Monongahela; and 10 grandchildren, Travis, Meggan, Alexa, Sean, Dana, Kayla, Tori, Leyla, Marissa and Shayna Demo.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Michael A. Demo.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, with Pastor Melissa Geisler officiating.
