Sandra “Sandy” Yatsko, 64, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 3, 2013, in Country Meadows of South Hills.

She was born May 13, 1948, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Robert S. and Ruth Koter Elder.

Mrs. Yatsko was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 1966.

After moving to Canonsburg, where she lived most of her life, she was a member of Center Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Yatsko enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She was totally dedicated to her family.

On December 23, 1967, she married her beloved husband, Larry A. Yatsko, who survives. They recently celebrated 45 years of marriage.

Also surviving are son, Larry A. (Maria) Yatsko Jr. of Canonsburg; two granddaughters, Morgan and Karsyn Yatsko; and a sister.
