Anne Hubiak Gutosky-Allum, 88, of Rices Landing, formerly of West Finley and Deemston Borough, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 24, 1924, a daughter of John and Helen Hubiak.

Mrs. Gutosky-Allum was a graduate of East Bethlehem High School.

In 1945, she married John Vincent Gutosky, who passed away in August 1977. Together, they had three children, John, Ellen and William Gutosky.

In 1982, she married the late Blaine Edwin Allum.

She was employed for many years as an office manager with Washington County Housing Authority in the Fredericktown office. Following her marriage to Mr. Allum, she assisted with operating Allum’s Grocery Store in West Finley, until her retirement.

Surviving are children John (Paula) Gutosky, Ellen Krokenberger and William (Diana) Gutosky; three stepchildren, Dianna (James) Bowersock, Ruthie Ralston and Carol (Tim) Huxley; five grandchildren, John Paul (Darci) Gutosky, Alexa (Chris) Ruby, Becca Gutosky, Joe (Renee) Righetti and Kim (Aaron) Svabik; a sister, Julia (Hubiak) Currier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her loving husband, Blaine, who passed away November 20, 2012; grandsons Sean Righetti and William John Gutosky; and stepson Paul Allum.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, January 12, in Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro, PA 15348, 724-377-2400. Interment will follow in Buckingham Cemetery, Deemston Borough.
