Anna LaRue Anderson

Anna LaRue Anderson, 76, of Washington, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born August 26, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Ellsworth Lewis Sr. and Dorothea Elaine Berry Lewis.

Mrs. Anderson was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School.

She worked as a packer at Hazel Atlas and then at Brockway 7.

Mrs. Anderson had been a league bowler at Alpine Lanes and enjoyed driving and competing in small tractor pulls.

For more than 50 years, she was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church.

On May 20, 1956, she married Floyd Harvey Anderson, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda Elaine Clutter-Gashel (Wilber) of Washington; a brother, Frank E. Lewis Jr. (Reita) of Kirtland, Ohio; a sister, Bonita Aloha Pierson of Canonsburg; a grandchild, Floyd Anthony Clutter (Tera); and two great-grandchildren, Carolyn and Preston Clutter.

Deceased is a sister, Elda Greco.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14.
