Sara A. Buszinski

Sara A. Buszinski, 89, of Bentleyville, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.

She was born August 3, 1923, in Courtney, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Frances Leach DeHosse.

Mrs. Buszinski, along with her husband Anthony, owned and operated their family dairy farm.

She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Transfiguration Church, in Monongahela.

Mrs. Buszinski volunteered her time with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and taking pictures.

Surviving are four sons, William Buszinski and wife Patricia of Bentleyville, Gerald Buszinski and wife Shirley of Amity and Michael Buszinski and wife Kathy and Kevin Buszinski and wife Lorianne, all of Blairsville; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Buszinski of Scott Township; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Ferro and husband Egidio of Courtney, Mary Margaret Bove and Anna Jean Gilmore and husband John, all of Finleyville; and a brother, Alphonse DeHosse of Bethel Park.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Anthony Buszinski, who died August 28, 1997; a son, Anthony J. Buszinski, who died in 1999; two granddaughters, Laura Louise and Loretta Johanna Buszinski; and a sister, Dorothy Gavelic.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, in Transfiguration Church, Monongahela. Committal services and interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
