Nancy J. Stewart, 73, of McDonald, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, in her home.

She was born September 3, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late George H. and Henrietta A. Ensslin Davison.

Mrs. Stewart was a 1957 graduate of Bethel Park High School.

She was a homemaker and a member of McDonald Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Stewart was an animal lover, and when she was younger enjoyed riding horses and Western dress. Her beloved cat was always at her side.

On November 25, 1965, she married Lawrence R. Stewart, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert G. (Karen) Stewart and Wayne H. (Donna) Stewart, both of McDonald; a stepson, Lawrence R. (Cindy) Stewart Jr. of Mt. Jewett; four grandchildren, Christopher, Callie, Cody and Nicole Stewart; and two stepgrandchildren, Jonathan and James Stewart.

Deceased is a sister, Ruth E. Davison.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
