Charles Frederick Crouser

Charles Frederick Crouser, 77, of West Alexander, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Humbert Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Washington.

He was born November 15, 1935, in Dallas, W.Va., a son of the late Frederick Agnes Chedister Crouser.

Mr. Crouser was retired from Box USA, where he was a truck driver.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, camping, fishing and puzzle books.

On November 15, 1986, he married Sharon Richmond, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Charles (Karen) Crouser Jr. and Mark Walker, both of Washington; six daughters, Diana Cummins and Terri Ferris, both of Washington, Janet (Frank) Julian of Claysville, Susan (Todd) Diehl of Washington, Carol (Gene) Kline of Maryland and Tammi (George) Horr of Claysville; a brother, William (Linda) Crouser of Ohio; four sisters, Mary Eddy of Washington, Nellie McKahan of Virginia, Ida (John) Pecjak of Crucible and Wanita (Carl) Walsh of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, John Crouser, and a sister, Mildred Crouser.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 22.
